Volvo Ocean Race

For the first time in the event’s history, the Volvo Ocean Race 2008 will introduce significant changes to the race format and look at visiting new ports along a new route that may include stopovers in the middle-east, India and Asia. Negotiations are in progress with potential ports, teams and sponsors, all of which may impact on the Notice of Race. Once all details have been finalised, the Notice of Race 2008-9 will be issued by the Race Director and published here on the site.
