Visit Willemstad

Willemstad is a historical fortification village situated in the province of Noord-Brabant. It was built by Willem van Oranje.

For Dutch water sports enthusiasts, Willemstad needs no introduction. Situated on the ‘Volkerak’ and ‘Hollandsch Diep’, the harbour is very popular.

Right outside the fortification are the ‘Volkerak locks’. This complex is one of the largest ones for the inland waterways in Western-Europe.
