Visit Zierikzee

Zierikzee is a city of monuments and has been nicknamed the 'Oosterschelde Pearl'. The city has an impressive skyline with walls, gates, churches, a tower and mills. Over 700 monumental buildings are located throughout the city.
In the Museum Harbour you can see old ships near the beautiful city gates. The history of the city and its maritime heritage is shown in the Maritime Museum and the City Hall Museum.

The city centre boasts many modern shops. Every Thursday is market day on Havenplein. You can relax in one of the many outdoor cafes and have lunch or dinner in one of the numerous restaurants.

A lot of visual artists have chosen Zierikzee for their home base. You can visit many of their galleries and studios.
