Zeebrugge, especially famous for its authentic maritime character, is sometimes called the Capital of Fish. The new old Zeebrugge village is the place to be to enjoy life.
When you have admired this picturesque village you can continue your walk along the pier towards the beautiful marina of the Royal Belgian Sailing Club, which provides 250 berths for members and accommodation for visitors.
Pubic transport will take you effortlessly to the beach at Zeebrugge-bad where you can take a walk on the dike or sunbathe on the beach.
Both children and adults can enjoy a ride in a go-cart, which may be hired on the dike, and afterwards you can treat yourself to a fine seafood dinner in one of the many fish restaurants along the dike.
